AhlulBayt News Agency: The Public Relations Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a cultural program for a delegation from the Ja'fari Academy in Britain.
One of the staff of the University and school Relations Division of the Department, Mr. Amir Hadi, said:"the cultural program prepared by the division for the visiting delegation, which includes 40 people from the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), included multiple paragraphs, including a tour of a number of projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, a visit to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), as well as cultural and entertainment tours."
He added that"the tour included a visit to the al-Fadl Center for the preservation of the manuscript heritage and the documentary archive, in which the delegation reviewed the sections of the center, and listened to a detailed explanation of the stages that the manuscripts go through during the inspection, restoration and preservation processes".
For his part, the assistant director of al-Fadl center, Mr. Ali Mohammed Jassim, said that "the delegation reviewed the vital departments at the center, including the biological section on the detection of fungal and insect infections, the chemical section specialized in the examination of inks, leather and materials used in restoration, as well as the restoration department, the decoration and packaging industry, and the documentary archive department".
For his part, a member of the board of Trustees of the Jaafari Academy, Mr. Furat Aal Yassin, said: "this visit is the fourth within the annual program of the Academy, which includes visiting the holy shrines and reviewing its projects," stressing that "the tour included a visit to the Sidr model farm, and other projects that provide multiple services to the community."
